Air Canada launches transformed Aeroplan program with additional benefits 

The transformed Aeroplan program, designed to put the member experience first, comes with personalized, flexible and easy-to-use features. It also offers exceptional value allowing members to travel more and travel better.  Highlights of the transformed program include:

Improved Value on Flight Rewards - Aeroplan offers flight rewards to hundreds of destinations worldwide on Air Canada and over 35 partner airlines. The transformed Aeroplan program offers predictable pricing, with access to every seat available on Air Canada flights with no cash surcharges, plus the option to pay with Points + Cash.

More Options for More Members - Aeroplan has something for everyone and will make travel better with new features such as: Aeroplan Family Sharing, so that members can combine points with other family members to reach rewards faster; earn points with every Air Canada flight booked, including Economy Basic Fares; the ability to use points for extra travel perks such as upgrades and in-flight Wi-Fi; and expanded merchandise rewards.

Air Canada Altitude is becoming Aeroplan Elite Status - Aeroplan will continue to offer five Elite Status levels: Aeroplan 25K, 35K, 50K, 75K, and Super Elite. All of the most popular Elite Status benefits remain, along with some new, first-in-market features, including Priority Rewards, Status Pass and Everyday Status Qualification.

Keeping Canadians safe - Use ArriveCAN app

All travellers are required to provide contact and quarantine information upon and after entry into Canada. This is part of Canada's efforts to reduce the spread of COVID-19 and prevent importation. This information is crucial to Canada's response to COVID-19.

Paper forms can be incomplete or inaccurate, and can take days to process. To help provinces and territories protect their citizens, the Government of Canada is moving to a safer and faster paperless process.

Requirements for entering Canada by air

As of November 21, 2020, if you're flying to Canada as your final destination, you must use ArriveCAN to submit your:

• travel and contact information
• quarantine plan (unless exempted under conditions set out in the mandatory isolation order)
• COVID-19 symptom self-assessments

You must use ArriveCAN before you board your flight to Canada.

If you’re using the ArriveCAN app, your window to submit information opens 90 days before your flight.

If you submit your information by signing into ArriveCAN online, your window opens 14 days before your flight.

Once you submit your information through ArriveCAN:

• a receipt will be displayed
• be ready to show the receipt to a Canadian border services officer
• you can show your receipt from the app as a screenshot or printout

In a recent survey, nearly 80% of customers said they would feel most comfortable renting if they were to receive a disinfecting wipe to wipe down high-touch areas themselves. As a result of this feedback, Enterprise Holdings are proud to announce an additional layer of customer control and peace of mind that builds on our Complete Clean Pledge.

Enterprise Holdings will now provide a one-count Clorox® Disinfecting Wipe in every vehicle rented through their three brands – Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental and Alamo Rent-A-Car. The action is part of an overall initiative by Enterprise Holdings and Clorox® to implement near- and long-term enhancements to their cleaning procedures.

While the distribution of a one-count wipe – an industry-first in car rental – may be a simple enhancement to their existing cleaning and safety protocols, it is hopeed that it will help customers feel even more confident their vehicle is clean and sanitized each and every time they rent from one of the Enterprise brands.
