Air Canada Continues to Rebuild its Global Network with Service Resuming to Key Destinations Around the World 

Air Canada unveiled additional details of its planned international schedule for this summer, which includes the resumption of 17 routes and 11 destinations across the world from its hubs. The airline is resuming its service between Calgary and Frankfurt, as of August 1, up to four times weekly, and is also offering for the first time a unique non-stop service from Montreal to Cairo, Egypt, three times weekly.

In addition to these upcoming service resumptions, Air Canada has already resumed flights to Greece, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Italy, Spain, United Kingdom and Morocco and will increase frequencies in some of these destinations as of August.

With COVID-19 travel requirements adding extra steps to the travel journey, it is more important than ever that you arrive at the airport on-time for your flight. 

Within Canada - arrive 90 minutes prior

To/From the U.S. - arrive 120 minutes prior

To the U.S. From Toronto Pearson Airport

For departures before 10 am, wait times are longer than usual at U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and Canadian Air Transport Security Association (CATSA) pre-board screening. You should arrive at the airport three (3) hours before your flight's scheduled departure time. Pre-board security screening for departures to the U.S. opens at 4:00 AM. 

International (including Mexico and Caribbean) - 180 minutes prior

WestJet expands codeshare partnership with KLM Royal Dutch Airlines.

WestJet has expanded its longstanding codeshare partnership with KLM Royal Dutch Airlines.  Passengers will now have convenient access via Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport (AMS) to 18 cities across Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Scotland, Spain and the United Kingdom.

Their enhanced partnership builds on WestJet's new non-stop 787 Dreamliner service between Amsterdam and Calgary and provides greater access between Canada and European points for travellers on both sides of the Atlantic.

No need to worry about getting billed for a stay in advance. Payment takes place upon your return when you exit the facility. An email receipt will be sent to your inbox automatically once the stay is completed and you have exited the facility.
